The following documents were obtained by the researcher Perseu Vaz Barbosa Matias geologist.
After approving the researchers 'Environmental Impact Statement (P. C. A.)', NATURATINS, The Tocantins Nature Institute (which is the state of Tocantins' environmental protection agency) issued the Environmental Licenses.
The Utilization Permits issued by the DNPM, the National Department of Mineral Production, 17th District, (the bureau which authorizes and monitors mineral production in the country) were obtained after the approval of the preliminary research report and legal analysis.
The authorization for mineral production and sales through Utilization Permits ("Use guide") is given during the mineral research phase. The permits have time and quantity limits. The total authorized volume of mineral was produced and transferred to our warehouses during the validity periods of the four Utilization Permits and of the Environmental Licenses (Licensas Ambientais). Our sales are thus totally legal, and have included exports by us or through our clients.
We would like to point out that the Environmental Licenses and Utilization Permits can be renewed or reissued if the researchers so desire, wile the bureau analises the Final Research Report.
The "Final Research Reports" for the four areas proving reserves for more than twenty years of uninterrupted production have been submitted. They are being analyzed by the DNPM (National Dept. for Mineral Prodution) and we are awaiting approval.
